The room was clean. The staff was nice but due to the codes and this being in the historic area, there is no elevator. If you are younger and travel light, this is no issue. I am older and pulled my heavy suitcase up the stairs. They really need to have a helpful bell man in these cases.

"There are not many motels in Venice. It caters to fishing recreation mostly as well as charter groups. For me it was the beginning of my journey following the Mississippi River from Louisiana to Minnesota. They do not provide breakfast which is unfortunate since there are no places around for this ..."
