We stayed in the king suite. Was very comfortable and clean.

The staff were really friendly--the nicest. Only downside is that the hotel is pet friendly, which is great, but there's not really anywhere safe or clean to walk your pet. Lots of rocky "garden" areas with quite large and sharp rocks, lots of cigarette butts, etc.

Overall we enjoyed this property and the staff. Our one and only issue came up the morning we checking out; the washroom pipes stopped draining. The tub wouldn’t drain and toilet as well. When I brought this up to front desk with were kind and took care of us. This was just a issue with buildings of this age.

We recently stayed at The Nova on Yellowhead after leaving another hotel due to poor service, and the difference was night and day. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Sujal at the front desk, and he completely changed the tone of our trip. Sujal was extremely welcoming, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure we were comfortable. He went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and showed a level of hospitality that is rare to find these days. In fact, he was the reason we decided to book and stay here. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and well-kept, but it was Sujal’s outstanding customer service that truly stood out. After the disappointing experience we had just come from, he was the defining difference that turned our trip around. If you’re looking for a hotel with staff who actually care about their guests, I highly recommend The Nova on Yellowhead—and I especially want to recognize Sujal for making our stay so enjoyable.

For the price, you can stay somewhere else that would be better.
