"We had a wonderful stay in this home in a quiet historic area of Danville. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bedrooms were large and the beds comfortable. We enjoyed our evenings hanging out and playing pool. The back porch looks out into a pretty backyard with a huge tree. "If you are looking for a one or two bedroom house in the Danville area, this is a great choice. The inside has been completely redone and they did a great job. The house is super clean and very comfortable. It's tucked away in a quiet neighborhood and the neighbors are nice. You have off street parking for a couple of cars. The house is close to a lot of things to do but far enough away that you don't have to deal with noise, traffic, or problems. There is easy access to the highway nearby and...

"The only issue we had was that when we arrived it was extremely hot in the home and the air conditioners (window units) were also on. When we tried to turn the heat down, the thermostat was locked. I went back and forth with the property owner and he finally unlocked the thermostat remotely so we could adjust it. I've never experienced that before. "

"It is an old house, as stated in the ad. Some rooms had bad smell, especially the BR in the basement. Lots of room for everything. We had minor plumbing and electrical issues. Some of the bedrooms were inter connected, had privacy issues. Disappointed with the pool, as it was not clean despite the efforts from two people who came to clean it. Overall it was good!"

"We booked this house to attend what turned out to be a horrible festival called blueridge rock festival. While our festival had issues our rental did not! Our rental had plenty of space for us to invite friends over , bake a lasagna and play some card games together which helped salvage our trip. The home was very spacious, had a lot of nice touches such as a variety of Board games, extra dishes and cookware ect. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy! 10/10 would recommend."

"My father and I stayed while tracking at VIR with Chin Track Days. Our car trailers were able to fit in the driveway for the last night so that we could hit the road early without going back to the track. A short 14 minute drive to the track without going back on 58 made the morning and evening commute great. The property is a very relaxing spot that is wonderfully furnished and comfortable. We will be back in the fall!"

"Our family of 11, ages 13-80, gathered at the "Memory Maker" for a long weekend in June 2024. We found the house even more spacious than the photos depicted. And immaculate! The kitchen had everything needed for cooking big breakfasts every morning, and the separate coffee bar was a real hit! Plus Millie's Pizza was as good as ever! Everyone enjoyed the game room downstairs, and my grandsons patiently tried to teach their 80 yr. old grandmother to play pool.....I can still hear the laughter!!!...

"First impression was to notch. Location was breathtaking. House was very clean (wife says it was one of the clematis houses we've stayed). Kitchen and the rooms were well- stocked with all necessities. The morning sunrise on the balcony was amazing. We were only there for a few days to attend our daughter's wedding at the Virginia International Raceway (only 14 minute drive!). We would've loved to stay longer to actually enjoy the lake but we were too busy in all the wedding preparations. Only...

"Loved the privacy and location.Somethings need improvement.ex; Cleanliness- there was leftover groceries left in the refrigerator. Long black hairs on and dead bed bugs on master bedroom bed. A/c is old and struggled to keep house a comfortable temp. Had plumbing issues with guest bathroom. Couple beer cans in back yard beside fire pit. We loved the house and the location.Communication with property manager was very quick. Would love to stay here again if the issues were resolved. I’m not happy...
