The house was close to Vimy Ridge and we enjoyed visiting this site as well as some other Canadian War Memorials in Belgium which were a few hours away. "Enjoyed a wonderful few days in a fantastic rural setting with amazing views and countryside. Our host greeted us with a smile and invited us in for a glass of Belgium beer and then showed us to our gite. Everything about the property was stunning from the lounge area to the bedrooms and the garden was immaculate with sun loungers and even a football table for the kids to enjoy leaving the parents to enjoy a bit of peace. Easy access to the local village and if you drive into Armentieres you can...

Travelled to watch rugby at Lille (45 mins easy drive) beautiful town of St Omer nearby . No shops within walking distance but boulangerie and small supermarket 5 mins drive ."
