quiet and good location
The house is a side street very quiet, with a nice patio to sit and have dinner outside. Description is very accurate: few km from the beach and a supermarket where you find anything you need. 30 minutes or so drive to Porto, but we actually used it to explore northen Portugal, including national park, Braga, Ponte de Lima and many more places. great place and good communication with the owners. highly recommended.

The location is nice. That is the only positive. The premises is substandard, the electrics go off if you have the fire and kettle on at the same time, the bathroom is a shoebox with a sliding door, the shower ,and hot water, is a joke, and there is dog mess all over the "garden" and path where the washing line is and the first time we didn't manage to avoid all the deposits. It is not rustic, cute and charming, it is substandard.

Berge und Meer im Norden
Der kleine Ort Afife ist sehr toll gelegen, der Gastgeber sehr bemüht im Vorfeld sowie beim persönlichen Check in. Das Haus liegt an kleiner Nebenstraße das Umfeld ist ruhig. Parkplatz wird direkt vorm Haus angeboten. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in kurzer Entfernung, etwa 800 Meter ebenso der tolle Strand. Wanderwege durch traumhafte Natur direkt ab Haus. Es gibt viele Tipps vom Inhaber. Das Haus ist klein, aber ausreichend, die Terrasse mit toller Aussicht sehr schön. Leider gibt es einige Punkte, die jetzt im März, den Aufenthalt sehr negativ beeinflussen. Das Haus ist sehr feucht bis nass und klamm. Es sind diverse schwarz Schimmel Flecken an den Wänden und Decken, das Raumklima daher sehr unangenehm. Daraus resultiert ebenfalls verroste Lampen etc. Auch der Backofen ist innen völlig indiskutabel verrostet und nicht nutzbar. Leider standen noch keine Balkonmöbel zur Verfügung, und drinnen war es trotz Frühlingsthemperaturen von 18* kalt und feucht. Es steht eine Elektroheizung zur Verfügung was nicht wirklich ausreichend ist, die Räume Behaglich zu erwärmen. Auch das Bett war klamm und unbehaglich. Für Asthmatiker sehr problematisch. Sehr schade, vielleicht ist es im Sommer besser. Die Gegend ist wirklich toll! Die Menschen ebenfalls, aber so ist es sehr geminderter Urlaubsgenuss. Trotzdem vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft!

Eine runde Woche
Für uns zwei war die Unterkunft optimal. Sie ist sehr sauber gewesen und auf der gemütlichen Terrasse konnten wir herrlich entspannen. Wir haben die 1 Woche dort sehr genossen. Das Umland hat viele Möglichkeiten für Entdeckungen und hat uns gut gefallen. Der Strand von Afife ist super.

Prettig verblijf. Veel privacy. Het ontbreken van verwarming was jammer Het dubbele bed mag een keer vernieuwd worden. Het is ook wat krap voor grotere mensen maar de slaapkamer is niet groter.

Excellente situation pour visiter le Nord
Nous avons passé un agréable séjour en Famille avec 2 enfants en bas âge. Le lieu est parfait pour visiter le Nord, l’emplacement est top, entre montagne et Océan ( proche de la plage ) , commerces à proximité, et au CALME dans un bourg authentique du village d’Afiffe. De belles balades possibles depuis la maison en pleine forêt d’eucalyptus.. Le propriétaire discret est au petit soin.

Wir können das Haus und die Gegend sehr empfehlen. Der Ort ist beschaulich und der Strand wunderschön. Nach kurzer Autofahrt kann man andere Strände und herrliche Plätze abseits der Küste erreichen. Wir haben uns auch sehr gerne in unserem Haus aufgehalten. Die Terrasse ist wunderbar und wir haben sie gerne genutzt um zu grillen, zu lesen und auszuruhen. Ferien in Viana do Castelo
Unser Ferienaufenthalt in Viana do Castelo verlief unproblematisch und erholsam. Wir hatten in dem kleinen Bungalow unsere Privatsphäre und es war alles da was wir brauchten. Außerdem war das Bett sehr bequem. Die einzigen zwei Dinge die wir uns noch gewünscht hätten, wären erstens 2 Liegen im Garten und zweitens eine bessere Internetverbindung.

Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen. Vor allem auf der schönen Terrasse. Man kann von dort aus viel unternehmen. Schwimmen, Wandern, Orte besichtigen.

Prettig, schoon lekker dicht bij mooi strand
Wij hebben een fijne week gehad !. Het appartement is van alle benodigdheden voorzien, en super schoon, beetje klein misschien maar dat maakt het heerlijke privé buitenterras meer dan goed. Het ligt lekker rustig, auto heb je wel nodig, en van daaruit kun je alle kanten op om dit leuke deel van Portugal te bekijken. Leuk strand vlakbij. Supermarkt op 5 min rijden. Ook waren de fietsen erg fijn, heerlijk om helemaal langs het strand naar Viana do Castelo te kunnen fietsen bv. Gerard en Cecile uit Nederland,/ september 2018
