It was called Mallus and had a French door to the street which meant I had to have the blind down all the time for privacy, really the only drawback to it all. "Quinta de la Rosa is an amazing place to stay. Everything from the amazing awe-inspiring views, to the helpful, friendly and lovely staff, to the beautiful rooms (we stayed in Amarela 24 and it was gorgeous), to the delicious and highend food and wine, we were blown away. We will stay here again but only longer. The pools are perfect and we felt so relaxed. The winery is outstanding. I can’t say enough good things. We loved it here! Thank you especially to Sophia for her wonderful service at the front desk and with the winery tour."

"Casa Dona Édite was a wonderful stop on our trip. The guest house is simply wonderful with beautiful shared spaces, immaculate rooms and a simply breath taking location. Breakfast was delicious with home made items and Persimmon, grown on the property. The owners were warm and inviting, full of excellent recommendations including delicious tapas at a local cafe and a gorgeous walk through the village with their dog as a talented and attentive guide! (When you stay here you MUST walk to the trees at the top of the hill - the view is breath taking). I hope we are fortunate enough to spend time here again in the future."
