Peace of Provence - A beautifully restored boutique style home with vintage touches & roof top living.
Our beautiful village home in the heart of Provence surrounded by vineyards, olives groves and rolling countryside just 20 minutes from the A7 motorway. Just 40 minutes from Avignon and Arles but in the heart of stunning vistas & Provence style living, Peace of Provence is nestled in the quiet village of Villedieu - a village based around the wine culture & the very convivial Provence lifestyle - the village square is the heart of the village and is just 50 metres from the house which is home to 3 restaurants - one is a Michelin Rosette Bistro - a bar / café, an very well-stocked shop and bakery.
There are vineyards all around the village with wine tasting galore. The towns of picturesque medieval towns of Nyons and Vaison-la-Romaine are just 10 minutes down the road and well worth a meander & we are just 15 minutes from the base of the infamous Mont Ventoux for those cycling enthousiasts. You can explore the vineyards on foot and mountain bike, cycle the incredibly beautiful countryside or just drive around a revel in the Provence scenery.
Our home is very clean and lovingly restored with up cycled furniture, original creations & boutique hotel style touches. You will be on your own during the stay and everything is thoroughly cleaned before and after to ensure you can make the most of your trip. The kitchen is very well equipped with extras of a brand new microwave & air fryer. The top floor is air conditioned as well to help in the hotter July & August months. The Bedrooms stay cool as the house walls are really thick and they are all on the first floor.
We value the eco lifestyle and wherever possible have used ecological paints & up cycled a lot of the furniture you see in the house. We proved your linen and towels and these are washed in a Eco "Bio" laundry. We provide a few organic toiletries as a little welcome gift too.
The property is very spacious with a very well equipped kitchen, huge lounge and living area with two roof-top terraces and outside eating areas. There are three large bedrooms, two bathrooms and two separate WCs. The house has a mezzanine TV zone and a lounge chill out area to fully relax and unwind. The house also has large storage areas in the garage - ideal for housing your bikes in the racks provided. We have left two bikes for you to use during your stay. The property is close to Mont Ventoux a cycling hot spot and the cycling in the very local area is fantastic too. You can just chill out on the terrace watching the sun set, the birds swoop & let life flow by.
This is our second home and we love it. We hope you do too.

A beautifully furnished and equipped house in the heart of a wonderful provencal village. The terrace was the star attraction from breakfast to supper.
Wat een pareltje van een huis. Zo huiselijk, prachtig ingericht en Zen. Met twee geweldige terassen en het warm interieur wil je eigenlijk niet meer weg. Het beste van twee werelden. Overdag genieten van een prachtige streek en ‘s avonds koken (uitgebreide keuken) en genieten van een lekker glas lokale wijn (wijnhuizen in overvloed) op het terras. Wij komen zeker terug.
