Friendly Staff, But Definitely Not a 4-Star Hotel
While the reception team was friendly and tried to be helpful, this hotel simply does not meet the expectations of a 4-star property.
The first room we were given was literally the size of a closet, with dated carpeting and barely enough space for our luggage and two carry-ons.
After voicing our concerns, we were moved to a larger room—but not without snarky comments from the front desk.
The "upgraded" room had its own issues: the closet was so tiny we couldn't close the door with jackets hanging inside.
No individual shampoo or shower gel: just a single wall-mounted dispenser labeled "Shampoo/Shower Gel"—neither of which was effective.
Weak and intermittent Wi-Fi in the room; we had to go down to the reception area just to get a decent connection.
Tissue holder empty for two days...
Small Shower towels.
The TV remote was missing the battery cover, so the batteries kept falling out.
Breakfast was disappointing and definitely not worth the €18 per person they charge.
In short, this stay was far from the quality and comfort one would expect from a 4-star hotel. Friendly staff alone can't make up for outdated rooms and lacking amenities.
