The only reason this is not a 5 star review is the chickens and rooster that have free roam of the property. "We stayed in the Mountaineer for a friend’s bachelor weekend. When I say the experience was so relaxing and positive, it is an understatement. The cabin slept 4 of us comfortably and had some great amenities! Very modern layout with nice views and a hot tub. I will definitely be booking again for a couples weekend! Also, the staff was very helpful with requests and responses were fairly quick!"

"This is the best hotel for the money I think I have ever experienced. Clean and comfortable. The staff gave no problems. The breakfast was great. Eggs, waffles, biscuits, sausage gravy, bacon, etc. my only disappointment was that the a.c. Didn’t have an option to keep the fan running. So I missed out on my gray noise. "
