What a great Hotel!! Friendly staff, amazing breakfast buffet, clean rooms with comfortable big bed :) highly recommended for the price!!

Property was as advertised. We stayed in one of the two basement rooms. Pretty tight quarters for a family of four, but beds were comfortable and room was very quiet. Continental breakfast was functional. Our only complaint was our room was pretty warm, but we knew it wasn't air conditioned and not much the hotel can do about the unseasonably warm temperatures. They did provide a small fan that helped somewhat. The hotel staff was great. Hard to beat the hotel's location.

We stayed 4 nights in a Captain’s Junior Suite as a couple. Positives: The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel has beautiful antiques that add a lot of charm. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area. Negatives: Unfortunately, the overall attention to detail was lacking. The bread at breakfast was never fresh, and the hot chocolate option on the coffee machine was broken for all four days, with no alternative offered. Scrambled eggs were consistently runny, and the inside of the elevator was visibly dirty. Our bed cover was worn and dirty, which felt disappointing for a hotel of this rating. The air conditioning in the suite was noisy and didn’t cool well. A fan was brought to the room on the second day, which helped, but it wasn’t ideal. We were also surprised to find that the hotel bar was closed for the summer. Overall: Given the hotel’s high rating and price, we expected more. While it wasn’t a terrible stay, it was definitely below expectations and left us somewhat disappointed.

Good breakfast, good standard and convenient location.
