"We had a great overnight stay. Quiet, cozy and serene surroundings. Was nice to take an evening walk and see all the views and wildlife. Beds were very comfortable. We were a little confused when we saw the front of the lodge as it looks nothing like the photos here online when making my reservation. Also I paid a little extra for a “golf course” view. From the pictures I thought I was getting a balcony with a view of the golf course. We had a window with a tree right outside. Not much of a view and not worth spending the extra money to have a view. Next time when we visit I will know. Other than that we enjoyed our visit. You might want to update your photos. "

"Cute place and super nice staff. The rooms are adorable and good price for such a wonderful location. We felt real safe and even slept with the windows open for cool fresh air. The one thing would be the cleaning staff should be more attentive and clean the Cobb webs and sweep the floors more thorough. We would most definitely stay here again. Great location to visit Mt Shasta, Mcloud falls, Burney falls and Siskityou lake. Loved hearing the train coming through town. We stayed late September …Just WATCH OUT for the acorns falling."

"Great and quick service to check in and check out. Also, breakfast was good as the offered a waffles, biscuits and gravy, egg and sausage. The room was very clean and was bigger than expected. "

"While the fixtures and furnishings of the cabin were very dated, the only thing that really was an issue for us was the cooking pots, pans, and utensils. Those items really need to be replaced."
