Very disappointing experience.
I stayed at the London Residency Inn from September 25 to 26, 2026. Unfortunately, the room was in poor condition, and the bathroom had a very strong smell of cigarette smoke. The odour was significant enough that I was unable to remain comfortably in the room and ultimately checked out during the night.
I raised the issue with the front desk, but no suitable alternative accommodation was offered. I was also advised that the room charge would not be refunded despite my concerns about the condition of the accommodation.

Great vibe, great value, nice amenities.
Expected a curtain in the room with the open tub and there was none, that wasn’t my thing. Particularly as was staying with a family member, not as a couple. That was a problem we had to work around. Not a fan of that layout style. Otherwise, everything was very nice.

Great place to stay. I've stayed there many nights (~50x) over the past year or so and always have had a nice experience. The staff is the friendliest and most responsive staff in any hotel I've stayed. I have future trips planned here and this is my preferred place to stay in London.

"A tiny hiccup at check that was resolved quickly. Absolutely lovely location surrounded by dragon flies, birds, cows, horses and more! Comfortable bed and large space inside make it a true glamping experience. Great for couples looking for a shorter stay."
