Great stay at Lanou Hotel in Beijing! The location is fantastic—close to many popular attractions, which made sightseeing so easy. The front desk staff were super friendly and check-in was very efficient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. As a business traveler, I really appreciated the smooth experience. Highly recommended!

The room was very nice and clean and property was amazing. So many beautiful animals to see and lovely to take a leisurely stroll. The staff was very friendly and there was a variety of delicious food for breakfast.

Firstly, I was booking non smoking room but it was smoking smell in the room while I checked room 1218, although I have double check with the staff before checking in. I talked about the issue to the front desk then asking me to move to 1607 ( non smoking room) on the second day. I have spent time to move this 1607 by myself. Finally, this room was ok. Secondly, regarding swimming pool, they asked the guest to purchase their swimming cap to swimming, guest cannot swimming without swimming cap. But no any notice to let us know while we booked the room regarding swimming cap. It was unreasonable request to the guest. We already spent decent money for staying this hotel, their services value must match their fees. Plus, the swimming pool is a third party operating not belongs pan pacific hotel Beijing. If we know this before, we would not book this kind of hotel. Should be clearly to the agreement otherwise will be deem breach agreement.Overall, the stay for this time was ok only. I hope that they can apologize for this unexpected experience. Thank you!

clean room friendly staff

Amazing little hotel tucked in to a famous, cute and bustling street market. Really great place to stay for a few nights to explore Beijing. Walkable (3km) to Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square and in the heart of the traditional hutongs. The room was really nice for a family of 4. 2 king beds and a nice patio/balcony. 8 bottles of water refreshed daily and free fresh coffee and tea in the lobby. But the most amazing thing was the staff! They were all so helpful but especially Ella and Anna. They gave great advice and even helped us book a taxi and used their own Alipay when mine didn’t work and walked us out to the taxi in the rain. 110% recommend and would stay here again!
