“This building is dated. The door to the room was warped, as was the door to the bathroom, meaning both had to be muscled to close them. General condition of the room was fair, but for $175 I was expecting more. By comparison, I stayed at a hotel in the Catskills (same roadtrip) for the same price, and the accommodations felt luxurious by comparison. Really should be charging less for what can best be described as a 2-star hotel.”

“I would not recommend staying at the Presque Isle Hotel. It was, without question, the dirtiest and most run-down hotel I’ve ever experienced.
We arrived to check in at 6:00 p.m., despite check-in being 3:00 p.m., only to find our assigned room still being cleaned. There were empty bottles, garbage, and other debris throughout the room. A maintenance worker met us at the door and told us he was still cleaning it and that we would have to come back later. The front desk eventually gave us a……
