"We stayed on one of the cottages and it was nice. But the main hotel is lovely. Everything is there, you do not have to leave the area if you don't want to or need to. Gift shop, restaurants, activities, lobby sitting area, even things for kids, which we also used as adults. There was even live entertaining one night. Our cottage was within walking distance from the hotel, it offers a certain amount of privacy, got to see some deers so close to our cottage, it was a nice anniversary gift for us. The price was okay; around $1100, we paid half cash and the other with hotels.com gift cards. We stayed October 30th-November 2nd, and seriously thinking about going back again and maybe staying in the main hotel."

Peaceful Cabin - 10 Acres - Wildlife - Hot Tub - Huge Fireplace - Protected Land
10/10 Excellent
"Our hosts were incredibly accommodating when we had an unexpected delay in our vacation plans. We had such a great time at the cabin in October, so we were glad we couldn't go in July after all. The fall setting was so peaceful and we enjoyed using the wood stove, beautiful open fireplace, and sitting out by the campfire at night. The cabin was spacious enough for the 6 of us to enjoy family time together and have privacy when needed. Everything was incredibly clean and the hot tub was an added treat. This cabin is a definitely a hidden gem!"
"My two adult children and 2 grandchildren planned a trip to Bushkill Falls and the PA Rail Biles in Hawley. We wanted to book our home between destinations and found this lovely place to stay for two consecutive weekend nights. There was plenty of room and the amenities were more than we had ever expected. The kitchen had some food items stocked and Sue made sure we knew it was okay to eat, if desired. There were so many spices available, and ones uncommon to me. The fridge was many condiments, etc!! We took our own breakfast and lunch food, and ate out the very first night with leftovers for next days lunch. There was plenty of hot water and towels/wash cloths for showers and also washing dishes!! I loved the soap and shampoo dispenser in the shower, too!! The home was very peaceful and quiet, except for someone hunting around 7 AM or sighting their gun in, but it’s that tie of year!! Oh, we had a visitor the morning we were loading up to leave!! A lone chicken was at the glass storm door, looking like it wanted to come in for a visit! My granddaughter nicely mover her away from the door so we could continue loading the car!! The leather furniture was so comfortable!! My son was the only one who tried the heated massage recliner. We were just so busy sightseeing and ready to relax at days end. We visited the Aqueduct Bridge and went the George W. Child’s State Park!! It’s such a beautiful area and much to see!! I definitely recommend Sue as a host, as we had no issues!"
Adorable Gingerbread Style cabin in gorgeous amenity filled lake/pool community
10/10 Excellent
"We just cannot say enough good things about Brian and his family and how wonderful it was to stay in their cabin this past summer. From the moment we booked our trip, Brian communicated with us regularly and went above and beyond to make sure the home would be comfortable for us and have everything we needed when we arrived. During our stay, Brian checked in with us often to make sure all was well. We could not have asked for better hosts. The cabin was adorable and cozy and the perfect size for our family of four and dog. The cabin was also in a great location within the community and less than five minutes from Fawn Hill, the Steerbarn and Elm Beach. We would absolutely stay again at Wheelock Way!Hemlock Farms holds a special place in our hearts and it is truly the perfect place to be. Highlights of our trip included swimming at Elm Beach and the Steerbarn, dinner and ice cream in Milford, Lukan's Farm Resort in Hawley, Moka Origins in Honesdale, Bushkill Falls, and Paupack Blueberry Farm. Our daughter also enjoyed going to Fawn Hill Day Camp every day. There is no shortage of activities in Hemlock Farms and the Poconos."
