The cabin is close(6mi) to the lovely town of Waynesville, North Carolina and 28mi from Asheville. Its remote location and small-town charm offer a wonderful ambiance and a place to relax and refresh. It provides a perfect escape from the everyday hustle and bustle of the big city crowds.
There is no shortage of fun things in Waynesville, North Carolina. From waterfall hiking and cycling to fishing and more, Waynesville is a true outdoor enthusiast's paradise. Two of the most popular attractions in Waynesville are Cataloochee Valley and the Blue Ridge Parkway, which offer breathtaking views of the Great Smoky Mountains.
Waynesville is also home to various family-friendly activities, including horseback riding, golf, nature tours, museums, theaters, shopping, and a handful of events and festivals celebrating its unique heritage. Or sit back in a rocking chair, sip some sweet tea, and enjoy the fresh mountain air.

Getting Around:
As you get close to the property, you have to take a right on to Tanner Trail from Jonathan Creek road. This right is not that obvious when its dark, but there is a big rock sign that is light up at night that says 'The Preserve at Jonathan Creek'. So you have to take a right on to Tanner Trail at that sign.
Other Things to Note:
★ Driving Conditions: Like most in the mountains, the road up to the house and then down to our driveway is a little steep and our driveway is curved. All wheel drive is recommended, especially if there is any expectation for ice or snow.
★ Pets: WELL BEHAVED dogs are welcome with a separate non refundable pet fee of $150 per pet per stay. Max of 2 pets allowed, 40 lbs limit for each. Please clean after your dog and keep our backyard ready for the next guests.
★ No Smoking inside: Please refrain from smoking inside the home!
★ No Parties/Events: We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits.
★ We have high speed internet available. But please understand, we are at the mercy of the local internet provider, and it is subject to unplanned/ unexpected outages.
★ All TVs are smart TV’s on which you can use your subscriptions. We request you to bring your own passwords (BYOP)
★ Heat pumps produce a buzzing noise and are very common to houses in this area because they provide both heating and cooling unlike regular air conditioning units. The sound is louder in the winter when they are working to produce heat. If this bothers you, we have sound machines in every bedroom to help dampen outside sound.
★ Parking: 2 in front of house + 3 to 4 in the driveway
★ There is a fire extinguisher in the laundry room shelf.
★ All linens/bath towels are provided. Beds will be made up prior to your arrival. We provide a starter kit of household goods. If you are staying more than a couple of days you might need to purchase more.
★ Renter must be at least 25 years of age. Guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
★ We recommend you purchase a travel insurance policy which will protect you in the event of an unforeseen event.
