Check in was easy. Stefi met us at the location and gave us a tour of the house and gave directions on some of the amenities. We loved our time at Vacation Paradise. Very relaxing and enjoyed the pool.

Like a private mini hotel

Host was very helpful and answered call immediately or needed. The house has everything you can need to enjoy yourself. Only used the kingg bed and it was extremely comfortable.

Wonderful hostess with a fun tropical oasis!

I stayed here for five days while recovering from nose surgery, and it was the perfect place to relax. The home was spotless and full of thoughtful touches — the pool, hot tub, adjustable bed, and massage chair made a big difference in my comfort. Great value, quiet, and very relaxing. Stefi is a fabulous hostess as well, she’s very attentive and quick to respond. Highly recommend!

Has everything

We enjoyed our stay at this house. It is a very unique house(in a good way). It has everything you would need and more for a home away from home. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and the massage chair the most.

Great State Park Trip

Great place for the kids with lots of outdoor space/activities at the home and convenient to explore the local state parks and wineries. House has everything you could need and slept our crew of 6 comfortably. Stefi was there in person to check us in and was easy to contact.

Relaxing and fun

From check in to check out everything was seamless. The house and grounds were beautiful, there is even a kiwi tree! My family loved the gym (especially the exercise swing) and the kitchen had everything we needed. So much care and attention to detail by the owner. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful place and owner !

This place has everything! All the amenities are wonderful ! It is a great place to relax or be active…..all without having to leave the house. For an extended stay or if you just like to cook, Stefi’s kitchen has any equipment you need to prepare anything. We stay in a lot of VRBO’s and this had all the conveniences we have at home...plus ! The longer you can stay…..the better !

Private resort

This was exactly what we were looking for. Something close to home, private, with a view and some water. They yard was like a little resort, so beautiful and private. Lots of sitting areas to enjoy, while listening to the many fountains all around. My Grandson so enjoyed the pool as we all did. Stefi was very nice and supplied us with all of our needs.

Peaceful and Romantic

It’s like your very own secluded island in the middle of wine country. Literally no one around for at least 1-2 acres. You would have to stay in a big resort WITHOUT any privacy to get the same access to pool, hot tub, complete gym with sauna & tanning bed. I was going to sleep in the massage chair until I discovered the adjustable king bed with head & foot massage options!! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again for our getaway.

Privacy paradise

My teen grandaughter and her BF were occupied with something any time we were at the house. The zipline across the the yard, over the pool was the coolest. I enjoyed the quiet backyard. We were no more than 30 min. away from anything we were looking to do.

Worked for our lil family

Traveled with my husband and 9 month old. We made sure to bring our own play pen and crib because we don’t expect places to be equipped for babies. The master bedroom had a very comfortable bed and was equipped with comfortable sheets and many blankets if you need them. The shower had great pressure and got really hot which I really appreciated. The house is stocked with everything you could ever want and more, including gym, sauna, hot tub, great yard. We enjoyed bringing our baby around the yard to show him different plants and the unique decor items. We all enjoyed sitting on the porch for meals. 15 minutes to pilot mountain and 38 minutes to hanging rock. This was a great place for our needs.

Oasis

Beautiful home. It's an oasis. This was my first time renting a house. I wish i had rented it for a longer stay. The grounds are beautiful. We got to feed the fish. The pool was perfect. We even used the gym and the tanning bed. The massage chair was very relaxing. My 4 year old just loved running around the yard. It's almost endless. Thank you for having us. I hope you will let us rent again.

Weekend stay for Sisters 60th Birthday.

Stefi was great; she showed me around and explained how everything worked upon arrival. We had a great time hosting a party for my sister until the storm came thru around 5:15 and we lost power. We contacted the power company and they said it would be hours before the power was back on so we left due to it being so hot. We went home and returned the next day to clean up and get our belongings. We all enjoyed the pool and all the other outdoor activities. If you are a nature lover, then you will love this place. House was clean. The exercise room was a big hit for everyone.

Overall a nice stay

Everything was exactly as listed. Enjoyed the amenities of the home. Very clean and nicely decorated. Host was easy to get in contact with for any questions. This is out in the country so you will have to deal with an occasional frog and lots of bees. But that is life outdoors. There is a honey bee farmer near by and I don't think he waters his bees. Thankfully there were docile so I never got stung. Just a little annoying to have them around you while your swimming. I enjoyed the hot tub most of all, nice relaxing spot at the end of the day. My husband loved the exercise room and all the equipment that is there.

Amazing House!

We were so excited to stay here after seeing the photos in the listing. Sometimes pictures can be deceiving and end up in disappointment, but not in this case. If anything, they didn't capture the expanse of the home and yard. There were so many things to do in and around the house, we had a hard time leaving to do the things we'd planned to do in Mt. Airy! They even have a zip line in the back yard and we had a blast trying it out. The home was extremely well-stocked and the owner met us there to make sure we knew how to work the coded lock. It's an older home, so don't expect shiny and new. But it has been well maintained and makes the perfect stay for your getaway. The only negative, really, is that the smaller guest room mattress is VERY firm, so I'd suggest the owner add a foam topper or something to soften it up. Oh, and my husband now wants to buy an infrared sauna after using the one in the house. :(

Not what is pictured

This property is severely overgrown and not what is pictured. If you want to fight bees to swim and swim with frogs this is the place for you. After the 20 minute tour with the owner, she finally left. The first thing I did was use the bathroom. Yellow pee spots on the front of the toilet seat, brown poop on the back of the toilet seat, so first thing clean the toilet. There was a dirty bathrobe on the bathroom door. I looked at the tub and there was hardened soap or shampoo on it. Okay, I’ve checked into not so clean houses before. When my granddaughters arrived we got ready for a swim. Unfortunately the pool was swarming with bees. I messaged the owner who told me to spray them with water. Next, trip to Walmart to buy bee spray. Unfortunately it was too big a problem for bee spray. So after 4 out of our 5 person group were stung we decided to swim in the evening. Unfortunately the property is also swarming with bullfrogs that come out at dusk and jump from the overgrown bushes surrounding the pool that are 1 foot tall in the pictures advertised, into the pool with you. The frogs mate and leave the pool covered in frog eggs in the morning. No evening or night swim either. The owner also requested we leave the property 3 hours early at 10 am instead of 1 pm confusing her check out time with the listed time on another rental site telling me one hour wasn’t enough time for her to clean the house for the next guest. She “cleans” the house herself. I could go on but word limit..

Just completed our stay at Stefis paradise retreat. If you're looking to relax and unwind, take in the beauty of the mountains and nature, soak in a hot tub under the stars or just relax around a peacful water fountain then paradise retreat is for you. We took advantage of everything Stefi offered.it is only a 15 min drive to Mayberry and Mt. Airy for shopping and dining. The gym was great i used the massage chair and sauna so relaxing. There was every piece of workout equipment you could think of also a tanning bed. The house is cozy with space for all even kids. If you have pets they will love the very large yard. Host was great and easy to work with. The pool was closed for season but we did use Zip line. House well stocked with everything you need robes cookware flatwear. The one thing i loved and most people wouldnt notice right away is the white noise machine. Helps to relax. We will be returning in the spring or early summer to unwind at the paradise retreat. Thank you for a great retreat Stefi.
