"Very comfortable and the perfect place to stay for fly fishing in summer season 2025. Rivers very low, which made Lake Everest and below the dam the spot to fly fish for big trout. Relaxing on the deck, napping in the gazebo, safe and smooth kayaking, well stocked house and comfy beds made our stay beyond wonderful."

"The cabin and property were absolutely beautiful! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. I slept great in the king sized bed and I normally sleep poorly in a strange bed. The shower was large and had plenty of hot water. We enjoyed a fire in the fire pit one night and spending time in the morning having coffee on the front porch with a beautiful view of Whiteface Mtn. The trails on the property were great for walking our dogs. Can't wait to stay there again!"

"All 6 of us golden girls had a wonderful time at your Mountain Rock Lodge. You have thought of everything to having a FULL stocked kitchen with everything you could possibly need , to the lights on timers, bumper pool, foosball game room and the bottle of champagne you put out and the decor was amazing in every room. Every where you look you see something you didn’t notice before. I would call it Mountain Rock Lodge Elegance ! We also enjoyed sitting outside on the deck and hanging out by the fire pit. And to our surprise was a cozy starlit dining leentu … loved it ! The recommendation you gave us for dinner at the Whiteface Cottage was delicious and the High Falls Gorge hike was gorgeous!Thanks a bunch Terry and Paul for making our vacation so amazing! "We had a lovely time at Esther Mountain Chalet, which is everything it promises! Such a fabulous home base to explore the High Peaks region, then home each evening for sunset fires, taking in the mountain views and relaxing in the hot tub under the stars. The beds are comfortable, the living room is a super comfortable lounging area with a gas fireplace, and the host is great about communication and recommendations. Hard to ask for anything more! We stayed for 3 nights during our honeymoon and it was absolute magic. "

"We had the absolute BEST stay! We used this lodge for our wedding weekend with close friends and family and had a small ceremony in the backyard. Everything went flawless & Gene (the property owner) gave us amazing recommendations for rental companies for table & chairs, catering and more. He was responsive throughout the entire rental process even when we had questions during our stay. We will definitely be returning with our baby boy someday who will be arriving in January 2026!!! "
