"Property is fantastic - on the older side, but very well maintained. Owner was super helpful. Only downside is the distance from the cruises."

Strahan Village

Strahan Village

10/10 Excellent
"Luxurious and rustic hotel accommodation offering a modern and spacious harbour view room with a split-level lounge and bedroom areas and a full-size electric fireplace; uninterrupted water views from our room’s hillside location overlooking Macquarie Harbour and the fjord; our well-appointed room was near the exit and was equipped with a comfortable king-size bed and a pillow menu that caters to different levels of sleeping comfort; I am a return customer having stayed here before and NRMA member for over 23 years, and at long last, I felt pretty special for finally being rewarded with an upgrade to a premium harbour view room; the good customer service and the five-star quality of room amenities are well worth the money if $370-400 a night is within your budget; I would love to visit Strahan and stay here again if I am fortunate enough to live another 10-15 years!"

"The winter weather was not the best for our time in Strachan. The apartment featured spectacular views of the river and it was very spacious. The kitchen amenities were good and the bathrooms had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. It was a short walk to the pub in town and in winter there wasn't much else open."
