West Ireland Residences

This place was amazing and so glad we took a chance with no posted reviews. I will say the only down side is the two twin beds were not separated when looking at pictures provided.

I don't think it is possible to rate Ashford Castle as anything less than a full 5-star experience. In fact, if I could give it six stars I would. The level of customer service is so far above and beyond the call of duty it almost takes your breath away. Yes, it is expensive. But it is truly worth every penny. From the moment I pulled through the gates I knew this was a special place. It reeks of luxury...in a good way! Be sure to take advantage of the amenities. If you can only do one thing, do...

The location of the inn is central for short trips in the areas around Newfield. The rooms were spacious enough that 4 of us didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. Despite the age of the inn, you can tell the family invests money to keep the amenities current. The biggest standout for Nevins Inn is the food and staff. We had appetizers, main dinners, and desserts. All were spectacular and worthy of a high end restaurant. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Special thanks to...

We had such a good time here, the location is excellent, there is a lake a walk of 3min in front of the hotel. It has fireplaces in the front room with board games and original furniture, enjoyed every minute of our stay, the food is so good it worth coming for it on its own. If you are looking for a place on this part of Ireland look no more. Its amazing!

Our stay at the Delphi Lodge began with a greeting and a tour by the manager, Mike. The lodge feels like a home, and the staff do a tremendous job of making you feel welcome and catering to your needs. The lodge itself is located in the most gorgeous spot within the Connemara. The dinner appetizers began in the front room with cocktails/wine, and then dinner was served in the dinning room. We had a wonderful time visiting with the global group of guests staying and dining with us (Mike served as...

Downtown next to the pub

Fantastic stay for our family. The owner, Scott, was a perfect host and made us feel welcome. The food was excellent and the rooms well maintained and clean. It was an ideal location too for any site seeing near Galway. Highly recommended. We'll be back!

We had a fantastic time. The Wolfhound walk was so nice and he was hysterical. We also had dinner at George V, which was an amazing experience. However, the thing that I will never forget was the school of Falconry. We did the 90 minute Hawk Walk and it was one of the most amazing experiences in my life!

Very nice host. Room is large and clean. Good breakfast. Recommended.

Such a fun and accommodating place! Great hostel to stay at with friends!!!

Stayed at the Wyatt again for the first time in years. Their prices had gotten high for awhile but seemed to come down again. It was nice to be back. Looked like they had upgraded some things since I’d been there, like the TVs. The bed was great. Maybe the best sleep on my trip. Also the best shower facilities on my trip. Staff is always professional. They also have good restaurant and bar areas. Even if you don’t stay there, it’s worth a stop in for a bite to eat. Not sure if the Wyatt is he...

This was a great experience. I would highly recommend this amazing and beautiful hotel. The breakfast was amazing and taking the Falconry event was incredible. Service was exceptional.

Great plaza and combo of castlecourt bar accessibility.

The Mariner hotel was a great stay for us . So conveniently located in town . Clean and great breakfast! Would stay there again !

This is a stunning property with very professional and friendly staff. There is a beautiful perimeter walk on property, around the golf course and grounds which can include the lake (~1.2-1.5 mile circuit). The food in Palmer’s bar was fine, we liked the chicken supreme quite a bit and the wait staff, especially Derry, was wonderful. Lovely nooks like you’ll find in the lounge are perfect for reading and having tea. Breakfast was an amazing and almost decadent experience. Three downsides to be...

Clean and modern. Nice breakfast buffet with hot options. Comfortable beds. Great staff.
