"This VRBO ad states it includes a balcony and implies it’s a whole home.. It is actually a basement suite and it is miles from the lake. The tenants upstairs had no consideration for us living downstairs and were stomping around like elephants at 5am! The cabinetry in the kitchen has large chunks out of the drawers as do the cabinets in the bathroom. "We had a lovely stay at Katherine’s property. The best thing about it is the patio that overlooks Okanagan Lake. We spent much time relaxing and watching the view. It’s a great location: a little south of Peachland, so it’s very quiet, but conveniently close to it and to Summerland. I strongly recommend that Katherine replace the pull-out daybed with a regular king-size bed, as it is extremely uncomfortable. A few more amenities, such as a hair dryer would also be helpful. "We loved our time here! The owner was super responsive. The space is big and clean. It is so peaceful. A great place to bird watch and we spent each evening marveling at the bats. The property around it was a bit unkept. The only draw back was the fact that it did not have air conditioning so I had a hard time sleeping. "

"We had 12 in our group so the accommodation was great. The last several km of the road are dirt but it is well compacted and of no concern to anyone in our group. There are 2 bedrooms on the upper floor, 2 on the main and 2 on the lower level. Lots of fun amenities like a pool table and lawn games. We had another location we spent most of day time hours at on the water so enjoyed the evening views and watching the storm roll in."
