I was a but surprised since I didn't know what to expect. There's a TA truck stop across the street and a small convenience store next door with a Subway that is 24 hours which was a plus. It doesn't look like much, but it was quiet, clean, and AC worked REAL well. I actually had to raise the temp a bit because it was cold in the room. 95° outside, I was very happy about that. The gentleman that checked me in was friendly and quick about getting me a room. Don't let the exterior fool you. I booked thru a 3rd party booking service (expedia), while I was eating a bite also across the street. At check in the clerk gave me a paper to initial and was quite short with me when I questioned her about it, stating that that was how she got paid and to just sign it. I didn't understand and questioned her further and stated to her that I was trying to understand since I thought I had already paid for the room. Not really the kind of customer service I am accustomed to. Kindness counts always! Bed was fine and the bathroom was nicely tiled. Hot shower and room was basically clean.
