West River Trail Vacations from $665

We returned to this place on a quick 2-day/last minute get away. Owner is new from last time. Nice people; helpful and made a very good breakfast. Only issue we really had was the plumbing. Our room had some kind of venting issue with the sink/toilet/shower. Toilet bubbled and would go down at times; sink would go slow/stop at times; shower also stopped up and went down very slow. Told the owner about it and hopefully they can get it fixed. But overall, pleasant stay.

The entire facility needs to be redone. Dirty carpets, wooden blinds that had broken sections. This is a ski resort and I can’t imagine anyone paying skiing prices to stay here. They said there was complimentary coffee on the floor above ours. It was at the end of a dark hall, was stone cold and looked to be about three or four days old. Just a disgusting place. The air conditioner was a wall unit so high up in the wall you couldn’t see the degrees to set it with the remote. It was also the loudest unit I’ve ever heard. The one in the bedroom and the living room. The TVs in both rooms were small for a place of that size. I have never written a review this bad and have never stayed in such a nasty place. Don’t stay here.

I can show pictures of the unit that was very different than described. I paid extra for a Mountain View for 3 nights - and it was not Mountain View. We were in a different building at the bottom of the hill a 8 min freeezing cold and icy walk to the pool area.
