“It is a delightful, rustic (but not too rustic), cabin in the woods. Very clean and very well stocked. The kitchen had everything you might need, tons of board games, furniture and beds were comfy. Lots of option for enjoying the lake including an operation vintage pontoon. Sunsets were beautiful from the deck and the screen porch. It was 45 minutes to an hour from Bemidji, Brainerd, and Itasca state park. Hackensack is 15 minutes away. Really couldn't ask for more. It is everything it says...

“Randy and Shannon are the hostess with the mostest! They have two of the sweetest labs as well; Strider and D which our labs bonded with immediately. I highly recommend Last Cast Adventures as well, both Randy and Shannon took us catching and that's exactly what we did complete with a fish fry and fish to take home as well. What a visit and I can't wait until our next stay! ”

“Overall, the stay was okay. We checked into our cabin and it was left unlocked, dirty, and the plumbing was not working. Once we got ahold of Travis, he helped us transition into a different cabin for the remainder of our stay. The second cabin was much cleaner and had no issues with plumbing. The amenities (docks, kayaks, fishing shed) were all super nice and really made the stay worthwhile. When booking, be sure to read alllll the information about the cabins and expect that they really are...

“Property was very clean when we arrived. I sent the owner a question on the Sunday before our stay and he responded in about 1-2 minutes! I didn't expect that. Property was stocked with everything we needed... pots, pans, utensils, glasses etc. I would definatley stay here again. We stayed 4 nights and had a great time! ”

“Easiest Check in and Check out Process I have ever had. Nice and peaceful cabin in the woods on the beautiful lake. I would definitely go there again. I understand why the check out time is early because of having to clean the cabins, but that would be the only think I would have liked to be different. I kind of stressed about it most of the night, but not everyone worries about that stuff like I do. Great place to stay though.”
