"We have stayed here a few times now on off season when it’s a quieter time of the year. The fall is a beautiful time to go to Fernie.
Lizard Creek lodge staff are very friendly and always accommodating. The rooms are very nice and well equipped. I look forward to staying again next year."
"Facilities were slightly dated but good overall. Does appear they are renovating or refinishing some areas, including staining some wood. Waterslide and hot tub were great. Sauna was working well. Continental breakfast was good... basic but had a waffle maker. The restaurant at the hotel was actually surprisingly very tasty. The pet friendly room was in the back corner away from noise and foot traffic, which was nice. All in all enjoyable stay. Esso/Circle K across the street if you need anything, very walkable. A bit of a distance from 'downtown' fernie but nice trails around the hotel and along the river."

"We had an excellent stay at the Timberline Spruce condo. The condo was well located in a peaceful neighbourhood, fully stocked with everything we needed, and comfortable. The owner, Jeff, provided excellent communication before and during our stay. We particularly appreciated knowing that the condo would not tolerate noise from dogs, as we were travelling with our two dogs. During our stay, albeit in the off-season, the condo and surrounding area was very quiet, and we were glad to know the rules about noise in advance. Fernie is a quaint town with lots to do, and this condo was the perfect base to explore the beautiful outdoors."
