About this property

Waterfront Retreat w/ Hot Tub, Game Room, Kayaks, 2 Kings, + more!

  • Summary:

On a tranquil cove with breathtaking views of the Chesapeake Bay, this property has everything for a fun and relaxing vacation. A hot tub, kayaks, paddle boards, crab pots, pool table, ping pong, darts, TVs in all rooms, and front row seats to sunrises, sunsets and the darkest skies for next-level stargazing. Grab a paddle and explore. Have a drink at Windmill Point Tiki Bar. Explore the Northern Neck's quaint towns, shopping, and fine dining from this family and dog friendly home. Book it now!

    The Space:

After turning down a country lane, past meadows and fields where you can catch daily glimpses of deer, you arrive at Camden Cove and are greeted by some of the best views in the area. To come inside, you enter from the lower level with a smart lock. This well thought out and comfortable space includes one of the home's two living room/kitchen spaces and two of the four bedrooms. A long bar seating area is perfect for setting the kids up, or enjoying dinner while watching a movie. One full bathroom on this level is shared between the two bedrooms, but there is another full bathroom off the kitchen one floor up.

Taking the stairs to the second floor, you come into the other living room/kitchen area and the dining area. There is ample seating throughout for the entire family to unwind. The spacious and very well stocked kitchen with ample pantry space provides plenty of room to prepare large meals. The high-top dining table off the living area seats six. Just past the dining area, you will find what is arguably the best room in the house; a sunroom with stunning views out over the cove and to the Bay, with two couches and a coffee table that converts to a work-from-home laptop table. From here, you may also access the back covered porch overlooking the dock area and cornhole tournament space! This level also includes a third bedroom with a king-size bed and ensuite bath. A separate door leads to the back porch from this room. The laundry and a full size/guest bath are also on this level off the kitchen.

At the top of the second set of stairs, you’ll be greeted by breathtaking water views. This space serves as the fourth bedroom, complete with an en-suite bath. It’s kind of like a loft but more private as folks on level below can not see in without coming up the stairs. The king-size bed offers a perfect retreat. In the mornings, you can sip your coffee while soaking in the stunning views through the expansive windows.

    The rooms/beds breakdown like so:

    Upper bedroom 1 King

    Main floor bedroom 1 King

2 Lower level bedrooms = 1 Queen room, and one room with

a bunk with a Queen below and Twin on top, and another Queen.

Outside the home, there is so much to do. Under the porch, you will find kayaks, paddle boards, a canoe, a BBQ grill, and a hot tub. There is also a Game Room in the garage - with another TV, plenty of bar seating, a pool table, a ping-pong table, and darts. From the dock, try your hand at catching crabs with the supplied crab pots (mid-March through November), or lounge around on the Adirondack chairs. A dock ladder offers perfect access to the water. The protected cove is perfect for swimming and splashing about.

We have thoughtfully stocked Camden Cove with child friendly items, so you can stress less about packing and focus more on enjoying your vacation. If you have questions about a specific item, please feel free to reach out. We provide a travel crib, high chair, baby gate, and other items.

This home is perfect for families, friends, and anyone who appreciates comfort, style, and, above all, a relaxing time away from daily life. We think you will agree that the Northern Neck is a special place, and Camden Cove is the perfect location to explore it.

Add to your wish list or book it right now!

    Guest Access:

You will have access to the entire home and premises during your stay. This includes, but is not limited to, the dock, hot tub, kayaks, canoe, and lifevests.

    The Neighborhood:

Virginia's Northern Neck is a peninsula surrounded by unique and beautiful marshes, creeks, the Potomac and Rappahannock Rivers, and the Chesapeake Bay. You'll find many opportunities to explore all the nooks and crannies and get out on the water.

Close to several mid-Atlantic cities yet tucked into a cove on the Chesapeake in the small town of White Stone, this vacation rental is the perfect place for gathering family or friends. It is ideally situated at the end of a quiet country lane with only one other home in sight. Launch complimentary kayaks, paddleboards, or canoe from our dock.

Not a paddler? Relax on the dock with a good book, enjoy eagle sightings and jumping fish, or sip on a good drink and consider how fortunate you are to be here.

For dinner you could whip up a gourmet meal in the large and fully stocked kitchen, or head to the River Market for takeout lunch or dinner. From fresh bread, pastries, and cookies daily to soups, sandwiches, salads, pizza, ribs, crab cakes, crab boils, and barbecue, they have options everyone is sure to enjoy. They also have a full selection of imported cheeses, wines, and beer.

Many local restaurants nearby as well, including Adrift in town, owned by a

In the evenings, your entertainment can be as simple as stargazing with our telescope, or head just down the road to the Windmill Tiki Bar for drinks, dinner, and a beautiful sunset to cap off the night.

When you're ready to explore the area more fully, you will be surprised that this quaint rural town offers many gastronomical and cultural opportunities. Fine dining at Adrift - a restaurant owned and operated by a local trained at the Inn at Little Washington - is not to be missed. Also, visit the Allure Art Center, take in a show at the Lancaster Playhouse, pick up fresh farm items at local farmers' markets and small shops, and grab some house made donuts at Chesapeake Donut Shop. But, of course, our favorite place for fresh produce and local delights is Dug In Farms.

For rainy days, head over to Compass Entertainment in Irvington. This amusement center has indoor games, putt-putt, a climbing wall, a movie theater, a bar, and a restaurant. Kids of all ages love it!

You may also enjoy exploring the Northern Neck and its many designated "Trails," such as the Oyster Trail, the Wine Trail, the Water Trail, the Artisan Trail and, not to be outdone, the Coastal Waterfowl Trail.

Just a short list of the many things to do and see in the Northern Neck. So, relax here, where you are more likely to rub elbows with oystermen and artists than lawyers and lobbyists. Camden Cove beckons you to slow down, breathe the salt air, and live like a local. You may even decide to become one.

    Getting Around:

Car required. Bring bikes if you wish, it's very flat here and a great way to see the area! We also have a local bike rental company called Rappahannock Bicycle Company and we can help arrange drop off. And find Northern Neck Bike Club online for group cycles. And don't forget to see the area by water! Book a sailing or power boat charter or fishing charter.

    Interaction with Guests:

Our home is set up for self check-in, but we are available for any questions or issues that might arise. If need be we can be available in person. Please communicate through Airbnb messaging whenever possible. Thank you!
