Property could use some updating but that is to be expected in up north Michigan. You come up here to experience the outdoors not to sit in a hotel room. Despite being an older hotel, everything was very clean. Everything worked as should. Pool and hot tub temperature was perfect. Breakfast was decent for a continental breakfast and consisted of your normal stuff as well as eggs, sausage and biscuits and gravy. My family and I would stay here again.

I traveled here for business and stayed 5 nights. The public areas and the guest room were very clean. It was quiet, which I liked. The view from my room was of the Soo Locks, and just outside the hotel is a fabulous coffee shop. Just perfect for a business trip!
