Whitman Vacations from $1,901

The lobby had loiterers the entire time. The lobby smelled of stale & fresh cigarette smoke. The loiterers were loud & sleep was not possible. The vending machine is unplugged. The shower head did not work. The breakfast item was 1/2 full loaf of bread & butter in a brown paper bag near a toaster. Overall extremely poorly run establishment.

Very welcoming staff who gave us a goodie bag with 2 bottles of water and some snacks! Our room was spacious and clean. The complimentary breakfast was ample and delicious. We liked easy access to I-81 for our drive home.

The room was clean and I was somewhat surprised at the amenities (such as microwave and mini fridge). The location was in a quiet area. And the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

The property was not actually located at the address shown on my reservation. When we arrived, we found out that the accommodation was at a different address, which was already very concerning. Once we entered the property, there were several serious health and safety issues. The room had a very strong moldy smell, and one of the light fixtures was falling down, which we felt was dangerous. The bathroom was located on the first floor, and the bathroom window was open and could not be closed. There was also no curtain or proper privacy, so we could not reasonably use the bathroom. By the time we discovered all of these problems, it was already very late at night. We had nowhere else to go immediately, so we only stayed for about three hours to get a little rest, and then we left the property early in the morning. I want to be very clear that we did not leave because we simply didn’t like the accommodation. We left because the property was unsafe, unsanitary, and not reasonably usable. Also, the fact that the actual location was different from the address provided on the reservation is extremely concerning. Given these circumstances, I am requesting a full refund for this booking. I don’t believe we should be charged for an accommodation that was inaccurately represented and had serious health and safety issues.
