“The West Cork Hotel is situated in an idyllic site beside the River Lee. It is also very close to the main townsite. The hotel boasts a complimentary breakfast which was as good as any I’ve had in Ireland. The bar/pub/restaurant was superb and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Skibberreen is a hidden gem in West Cork, and if you ever chose to travel there, The West Cork hotel is the place to stay.”

“The place was very clean and great location, but in the master bedroom you can feel the springs in the bed and the shower doesn’t drain well so will fill up easily and overflow if not careful so wound up turning the water off in between shampooing my hair and rinsing it out. Also when you turn the sink on in the master bath it backs up into the shower. Some kind of plumbing issue here and definitely needs a new bed. The second bedroom was fine.”

“This little cabin near the beach was a wonderful little stay for us. Everything was clean and any stay's needs were provided. The setting is so unique and wild and a nice time in solitude. You can see Down Patrick's head right out the window. A walk down to the shore is just a couple of minutes and you are able to walk on the rocks and sand to see tide pools and the environment's changes as the tide comes in and out.”
