The hotel was not bad for the price. Only two criticisms, the bath wasn't clean and the taps for the bath were incorrectly labelled. I.e. Hot tap marked as cold for the bath. This could be dangerous. Also the outlook from the room was ordinary.

This was a historic stay. We loved the tiny details and felt like we had stepped back in time to a Jane Austen novel. Highly recommend for people who love old mansions. I taught my daughters about encyclopaedias - the google of yore - and we also loved watching the spirit of Tasmania berth.
