It took us 50 mins to find the car park I prepaid that’s linked to the hotel. I didn’t know when booking it was on the university campus.Tried calling for help, could only leave a message & nobody got back to me. After many loops of the ring road & the postcode provided taking us to a dead end we spotted the tiny purple sign set far back from the road. Almost impossible to spot when trying to keep out of bus lanes & feeding into traffic. Stressful as I missed the start of my conference. I was just told by reception ‘you’ll find it next time’. My daughter has a health condition which worsens with stress so I also had to cut the first day of my conference short because of the car park debacle. The room service QR code took me to a blank page so we went out to eat. The room was cool & clean but the beds were very hard. There was a pillow menu & the shower was good. Randomly there were geese on site who honked so loudly all night neither me nor my daughter got any sleep. The room facilities listed a hair dryer. I looked everywhere & couldn’t find one. This made getting ready for the second day of my conference stressful. My daughter was going to rest in the room but as we’d had such a disturbed night, she came with me. We were both exhausted so I decided to miss the second day of my conference (that I’d paid for) and drive the 100 miles home. It was a long way to go for a Wagamama’s. I’ve never had to leave a bad review for a hotel but I certainly would never return to this one.

Only stayed one night , all good , room clean and as described , last minute booking , happy with price , location a little bit away from centre - even though it says it Solihull (- 10 min drive )

We had a great stay, comfy and spacious, great communication from the host too. Check in was simple and easy. Plus there were extra fans in the rooms which was fab during these baking hot nights. Definetly recommended.
