Williams Lake Vacations from $924

Honestly, the staff were lovely. Which is why it’s hard to write a not so great review. The beds were at least decent. But there was a gigantic bucket of cigarette butts outside our bedroom window that reeked, the walkways were lined with people sitting and smoking when we arrived, the room and bathroom were “clean” but superficially - there was dirt and hair and not-sure-what-else on baseboards, in corners, on top of things. Our door casing was broken around the security lock, like someone had kicked the door in at some point. And… there was a gigantic glow in the dark middle finger surround by squiggles on the wall in the bathroom. Super weird when all the lights were out.

So lovely. A bit out of the way but worth the drive. The place is beautiful with a large bedroom, nice balcony, good shower, they even provide a hot water urn for those of us that prefer a cup of tea that doesn’t taste of old coffee! Lovely walk to the village, quiet, well maintained with breakfast, a sauna, gym and free laundry if you need it. All the staff were fantastic so helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them.

I canceled my booking before the scheduled date, but I was told that the cancellation did not go through. I’m a little confused because I made sure to cancel it before the date.
