get what you pay for. older hotel. run down. cheap. room and bathroom were clean. bed worn out. towels worn out. wifi worked fine. pool was closed.

The staff are very helpful and friendly. We were checking in and I mentioned that we had been driving for 9 hours and very tired. The front desk clerk, Aa Kash upgraded us to a suite at no extra cost. There are 2 restaurants on site which is very nice as we didn't have to drive to get dinner or breakfast. The hotel is downtown, across from a park and the Thompson river. Walking trails and an ice cream place close by. We faced the park / river view, and have previously stayed in a room with the "train" city view. The train track is right by the hotel. So if you are a light sleeper you may want to get a park view room. But when we stayed in a room with the city view (train) the train did not wake us up. The reason I gave a 9 instead of a 10 is because there was no complimentary bottled water and the carpet was wet in two areas and I am not sure if it was because it was steam cleaned or the previous customers spilt something, plus the closet floor was very noticeably not vacuumed. Overall, still a good stay with friendly staff, a comfortable bed and decent towels and bedding.

Great room, facing the mountain, very spacious, nice bathroom, rugs and furniture (dressers) need replacing - old, and very stained rug. Very comfortable though, good beds !!! Staff very nice.

Tub is a bit clogged. But my family had a great stay.

We loved the space at the Grand Residence. We had space for our family of 5 to have separate beds. Our other family members were staying in The Grand and we could all meet every night at the hot tub.
