As described. Slept 6 adults and 2 children very comfortably. Very close to everything in the Traverse City area. Plenty of amenities, the host was very responsive and helpful with the check-in/check-out process. We would stay again if in the Traverse City area.
Close to everything Traverse City has to offer! Laurie is so nice and provided all the info we needed. House was clean, spacious enough for our family of 4 and overall this was a great spot.
Great pet-friendly beach for family time with sandy bottom and shallow for a ways out. Location ideal for easy access to all TC has to offer. Easy bike ride to ice cream, short drive to get on Mission Pennisula and downtown. Excellent communication with host!
The house was located in a quiet neighborhood, up on a hill with a beautiful view of the East Bay. There was plenty of room for our family of 6 both inside and out. We enjoyed coffee out on the deck every morning and the owners provided bikes for us to ride around the area.
The house is a little dated, but was exceptionally clean and well stocked with all the amenities you need.
The owner did a good job of staying in touch and made sure we enjoyed our stay. Overall we had a great experience!
We stayed here for 6 weeks of GLEF. It’s our fourth year of coming to GLEF and this is the best house and best location we’ve rented! 5 minutes to the horse park, a short walk to the beach, fabulous amenities, a great view - this house has it all. Laurie is wonderful to rent from. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
We wanted to explore the Traverse City area on an extended weekend getaway and were fortunate to find this location just a few miles from the city center and with a nice view over the bay. Having the bike trail two blocks away (and having bicycles provided in the house) was a very nice addition. This is a nice place to stay both inside and out. We really enjoyed the evenings out on the extended deck area to take it all in at the end of our days of exploration, hiking and sightseeing. Our hosts were very accommodating and made sure we felt welcome and well at home.
We had a great stay in this spacious home. The view of the bay is fantastic. The house was clean and our host was very was very easy to work with. The drive to Traverse City was about 10 min but there were several nice beaches close to the home. We enjoyed the fire pit, the seating area, grill and hammock in the backyard as well as the seating area facing the bay. We would stay her again!

Great Memorial Weekend
This house was very comfortable and Laurie, our host, was very friendly and accommodating. The house sits up high with a nice view of the East Bay, and there is plenty of room and privacy to relax and look out to the water or enjoy an outdoor bonfire. This house is perfectly located with easy access to Downtown Traverse City, Old Mission Peninsula, Glen Arbor and the Sand Dunes, Leelanau Peninsula, Elk Rapids, the many Wineries and more (we easily enjoyed visiting all of these spots over the holiday weekend). We especially appreciated Laurie's offer to use her bikes on the nearby trail, but the weekend flew by fast and we never got a chance to use them or take that adventure. The house had everything we needed We had a family of (5) - (2) parents / (3) adult kids in their early twenties, and a great time was had by all. I could continue on with this review with only positives to say. In summary, I would stay here again and hope to return soon when our schedule and the availability of the home allow. Thanks to Laurie for the opportunity!
We stayed while Participating in the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival horse show. The location couldn’t have been better- do you want to get home quickly at the end of the day which wonderful. Laurie made the check in process seamless, as we arrived in the middle of the night. She checked in periodically to make sure everything was good- we’ve already went ahead and rebook for next year!
