Cabins are spaced a good distance from each other . Lovely and quiet. We have been going there for years but feel the cabins could do with updating. E g. We stayed in lodge 8 nine years ago and it had the same cushions and curtains and leather sofa. These are looking very faded. The electric log fire in the lounge wasn’t working. Despite this I would still go again because it’s so peaceful

Thank you for taking the time to write a review and scoring us 5/5. We are so sorry that the log effect fireplace didn't work for you. This has been checked and all seems fine. Please do not hesitate in future to call us and someone will pop in or come and show you how it works. For safety there is a timer switch so that the fire isnt left on for long periods and this maybe what you missed.

This is the third week that I have stayed. Customer service is poor, there is no can do attitude. For the final week we were in lodge 2, this is tired. Seal loose in the oven, neither toilet fixed to the floor, shower mouldy at the bottom. Plus on Tuesday most of a pleasant day of weather spoilt with loud strimming.

Staff went out of their way to make transitions from one lodge to another as stress free as possible; responding and assisting the guests with any issues. Unfortunately a continuous beligerant attitude will not receive the desired service as there is no need for rudeness.

20 excellent lodges next to the golf course. We were in lodge 10. The only negative is that lodges 10 and 11 are next to a fairly busy route to the management office. You can walk to the city centre in 50 minutes and Waitrose in 45, both walks safe and pleasant

Amazing property! Very clean, tidy, fresh and new. We really loved the sofas and jacuzzi. The bed in the large room was not king size, but simply 2 double size mattresses - It wasn't comfortable.

Could do with a few more flute glasses as only 5 in a 6 person property, but that is being really picky. Lodge was spacious, clean, fresh and in a lovely quiet setting. Would highly recommend

Great location and lovely surroundings. Good size lodge. The bathrooms were poor. En suite was damp and the smell was very bad after a couple of days using the shower. Both bathrooms need updating and the damp problem sorted out. Bed linen also a little musty smelling.

Anniversary Treat
From start to finish had a superb stay. Can’t fault the lodge, quiet & relaxing. Hot tub checked daily. Will be making a return visit & telling friends & family about it.

Relaxing comfortable short break
Really relaxing stay, peaceful setting on golf course. Lodge was clean and well stocked with all the kitchen equipment you could need. We had a jacuzzi lodge and the jacuzzi was clean and the water temperature perfect. Clean soft white fluffy towels and clean comfortable beds. All in all a lovely holiday. Would recommend south Winchester lodges.

Paultons Park family visit

Fantastic stay
Fantastic trip away, stayed in a lodge with two bedrooms and a hot tub with my partner and 2year old daughter. Had Fresh local sausages, eggs, bacon and milk in the fridge on arrival. All cooking untinsels in the kitchen. Like a home from home, loads of space in the lodge. Showers powerful and heating in the lodge great. Hot tub water changed before arrival as witnessed as we checked in early. Great location just minutes off the m3 and in a 25 minute radius of days out. Overall a great stay and looking to return in the future.

Perfect for a quiet relaxing break!
I dread having an expectation as it usually disappoints. For once..... it didn't. What a lovely stay, no noice and the perfect retreat from 2 year old twins! Lovey breakfast in the fridge to. I will be back for sure x

Fabulous Lodge *****
A superb lodge with everything you need for a quiet weekend break including a hot tub! All furnished to a high standard and kept very clean. fab location good pubs or places of interest nearby plenty of shops for groceries or shopping. The lodge is very well laid out for either a family or just a couple very spacious, well equipped with all the essentials. You also receive a welcome goodie breakfast kit which was delicious.

We stayed here for my partners birthday and loved it. The lodges are excellently equipedal, especially for self catering options the staff have provided everything you could need, we especially enjoyed the treat of the ingredients for a cooked English beakfast in the fridge. The staff have been very helpful when booking and assisting with any additional requests. I booked the additional creamy tea and champagne on arrival and it was lovely and scrumptious. The lodges are cosy, warm and we did not experience any issues whilst we stayed here over the weekend just gone, I would definitely consider returning.

Great quiet location
Excellent lodge, clean with everything you need, even some basic provisions to get you started. The location on the golf course is very quiet ideal for relaxing especially in the hot tub! Easy to get to Winchester only a couple of miles away and the park and ride is only a few minutes walk away.
