We spent three unbelievably miserable nights in room 209. When we arrived we discovered the patio door wide open, the bedroom window open and the ceiling fans going full blast. It was still 80 degrees inside the room. I spent the better part of an hour trying to turn on the AC with zero success. We also discovered that the ice machine, the garage security door, and both of our TVs did not function. Apparently the ice machine has been broken for months.
We called the after hours line to see how we could get the AC operational and were rather abruptly told that the room does not have AC and that I should have known that as it was posted on the web site. I took a look at the website and found nothing regarding the units not having AC.
We tried to make the best of it and slept with the patio open and the fans on, but did not get a good nights sleep until we came home. This property is in a prime location and could be really nice with some investment in the property and different management. Maybe stay in January, assuming the heat works, which I doubt based on the track record.
