Wolfsberg is situated about 120 miles (193 kilometers) southwest of the national capital Vienna, and 30 miles (48 kilometers) southwest of Graz.
The area around Wolfsberg is crisscrossed with natural and cultural attractions, from perennial tourist favourites to still-undiscovered gems. Eberndorf, 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the northeast, and Sankt Georgen am Langsee, 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the east of Wolfsberg are good places to visit if you're keen on learning more about this region.
When it's time to explore beyond Wolfsberg, visit the nearest regional area. Sankt Veit an der Glan lies 25 miles (40 kilometers) away and is home to visitor attractions including Schaubergwerk, Hochosterwitz Castle and Hauptplatz. Heinrich Harrer Museum and Museum St. Veit are also good places to spend some time.
