Reception staff were disorganised. We had 2 rooms booked - one was a larger king and the other a twin. We were directed to the wrong room. After repacking and finding the correct room the a/c was not working. Engineer never appeared as promised and after a further call a receptionist came to say he couldn’t fix it. We were promised a second fan which never arrived. The twin room was set up as a double despite requesting a twin. Both rooms were a long way apart despite asking for them to be close to each other.
Toiletries fixed on the wall next to the sink were hand wash and conditioner rather than body lotion. In the shower it’s a combined hair wash/body wash.
We were given complimentary breakfast as a result of the issues.
The hotel is set in lovely grounds but rooms need a facelift and staff need to be better trained.
