"Having grown up in New England and moved to CA, I really wanted to have the quintessential lake house experience I missed from my younger years. This place delivered! My husband and I rented the house and had my Mother come stay with us for the duration. My sister’s family was able to come most days and the host even allowed their dog to come and stay on the property (not in the house). Everyone who came commented on the amazing house, the tasteful décor and the beautiful lake. I swam each day I was there and the family enjoyed kayaking with the kayaks provided by the host. The neighbors are close on each side but the house still felt very private and we barely saw anybody. This house is also well stocked and we found everything we could possible need in the kitchen; we did cook several meals there. I could have happily stayed the rest of my life."
