The room was clean, bed comfortable but pillows not so. Smell of damp on entry to the room and was quite noisy. Staff present but not very helpful or friendly.

The staff were great. It was the room we had. Room 150. Next time we'd prefer not to be in room 150 or any other room in that section. It's because of the intermittent loud noise of some kind of pump or something. It seems to randomly go on then stop then go again all night long.
We ended up putting a do not disturb sign on our door to try and get sleep in the morning but that was interrupted by the cleaners accessing the cupboard next to us which we could hear through our bathroom wall.
I don't like complaining tbh but something has to be done because we've been allocated room 150 twice now. And it must be the same for anyone else in that section of the hotel.
We will come back again as we love the spa but we will raise issue with room allocation if it's in that section of the hotel again.
