Xanten Market Square Tours

We booked the hotel for one night as attended a concert. Even thought I messaged the hotel directly a couple of times to ask questions, I had no response on either occasion. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, which was a shame. We purchased 2 x hot chocolate drinks from the lobby vending machine at 2 euros each in the evening but neither had chocolate in them.. either hot milk or murky water. On checkout, we spoke to the receptionist who said we could have 2 more instead of a refund, but by then, at 7.30am, we didn’t want them & would have preferred 4 euros, which we didn’t get back. Although very clean, it lacked room facilities, (a hot drink a must) & doubtful we’d stay again. We slept with windows open, no air con in the hotel so I imagine it would be very hot in the summer months.

The pillows in the room were flat. The shower door seemed glued shut , so i couldnt shower the nexr morning, the sockets are in the wrong places for charging phones even for making a cup of tea.
