"Checking into the hotel we are very excited. It seemed very, very nice, but as we walked down the hallway to our room, there was a distinctive pet odor. We checked into our room and unfortunately it smelt like dog and carpet cleaner. We had to sleep with the window open all night and no AC because the smell was coming out of the AC. We thought about asking for a new room, but by the time we got back from the aquarium, it was already almost 9 o’clock and felt like it would be too much trouble to askWe did use the pool and the pool was very nice. Breakfast was clean and actually pretty good. My only complaint again was the room itself."

"It's all about the beach! So easy to walk directly to the beautiful sandy beach right from the room. Lots of benches, adirondack chairs, picnic tables, and a fire pit to enjoy your time with an ocean view. Sunset there is incredible. Yep, it's a little outdated - but this is what you expect if you're familiar with the Oregon coast - ocean chic is way more authentic than modern minimalist. Why have it any other way? The bed was comfortable, sheets and towels clean and in perfect condition, room was clean and everything worked as expected. The owners/management, though? Awesome!!! Chad was super welcoming, friendly, and full of insider knowledge if you want tips on cool spots to check out. 10/10 will go there again... if I can get a room! These book fast so grab it now if you have the chance."

"The room was very clean. If you get a water view its outstanding. The rest is parking lot. Really like the on-site restaurant and bar. Word is new ownership took over everything just a couple of months ago and they have a ton of work to do. Eventually its gonna have a better appeal. Front desk staff and restaurant and bar were really helpful."

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were only able to stay here a couple of nights, but it would have been great for four nights if we could have. Yachats is a great town with great food, wonderful walks (for us with a dog), and while it is a tourist town, you don't feel like it is innundated. The actual house is very cute and small. The bed was comfortable and while the shower was tiny, the bathroom was workable. The kitchen has small appliances. We may stay here again."
