“One time is enough for Surftides! The best thing about our stay was that the cleaning staff was very friendly. Front counter staff was nice but also condescending. It’s unfortunate that Surftides was probably great in its day, but now shows that the current owners could care less which blows my mind when it comes to the hospitality industry! Business booms when you get people to come back, but when the bare minimum is invested to keep the doors open, it truly shows - in all aspects, and we won’t……
“Everything was terrible
The whole hotel need a renovation, bathroom smells bad Everything in the room looks dirty.
Breakfast very terrible, eggs pour it from a jeg and looks fake eggs”
“We stayed here for two nights. The front desk staff was friendly. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. The room was big, but the microwave in the room did not work. The breakfast was good.”
“Very cute and well maintained property, if you're not going to take advantage of all the amenities, it is a bit overpriced. We had dinner at the upstairs restaurant- the halibut fish dish($30+), ended up being really dry and there were kids running around in the restaurant- not the best vibes for a more expensive dining experience. The property is very family friendly, and we got a $25 food credit through Expedia, but no breakfast is included.”
“Great little place with beach access from property. Staff is great, called to tell me that cleaning staff found my ring 20mins after we had left the property. This wouldn’t happen at a big chain. Thank you.”
“The owner/ manager was rude tried to cancel our reservations while on our way and when called to ask why she was very rude over the phone said Expedia don’t control our business and charged extra for the rooms when we checked out and the rooms had a funky smell like smoke in two rooms and the other two smelled like animal and mold smh we will be staying somewhere else our next trip”
