Lovely amenities, tea coffee biscuits on arrival waiting in the room and drawing room. This was a nice touch after a long drive. Historic fittings, luxury linens, beautiful verandah. Friendly caring host. Amazing drawing room with lounges and tables and fire, would be very warm and fun in winter. No longer serves breakfast it is called an Inn. Some websites incorrectly still refer to BnB, however plenty of cafes to choose from round corner in the Main Street. Our friends stayed in 4\. They payed a little extra but well worth it. Breakfast pack was great. Only downer was the tv was very poor (almost zero connection). Our friends tv perfect. We would not have booked it if we had known. The proprietor was, however, very helpful and carried our cases up, and down again in the morning. It was expensive ($200) for what it was. We had trouble booking somewhere for the Sat.night but expected for that price it would have had some touches of luxury to compensate. The room was also quite small but had a high ceiling which helped. When we first arrived my husband said "I hope I don't get claustrophobia." It had tea and coffee making in the room and there was a separate shared sitting area,(also with kettle, tea, coffee but no microwave ) and access to a balcony. We were in Room 5\. The mattress was thin and hard. It needs replacing. The TV was smaller than my computer monitor and only about 5 channels work. The hot water ran out half-way through my shower and the towels are very stiff and scratchy.
