Location is 6 mins walk from the middle gate of the Forrest Park entrance and about 20 mins DiDi ride to Walingyuen or Xibu Old Street.
Staff super helpful. Gave us great suggestions on places to visit and also sold tickets to attractions.
Breakfast buffet was fine..mix of Chinese and Western foods. You can also order bowls of noodles 🍜 which comes in spicy soup.
We didn’t use the pool at all because of the weather. We went late September and we were ‘in the cloud’ most mornings on the 6 nights we stayed.
We had one of the 2 bed suites with terrace and the rooms were large and clean. Came with a clothes washer and drying rack. We didn’t use the terrace at all because there was a fence around parts of it which you can’t see through and there were large bits of plastic (like bin lids) strewn around. There are tables outside the lobby facing the fields across the road which are good to sit at which we did use.
There were restaurants and bars walking distance from the hotel. We ate at the one next door upstairs which was very good, and a nice little open air coffee, drinks bar called Pastoral Station which lit a Bon fire and had a singer every night.
There is also a small convenience shop next to the hotel which opens til 10pm.
