"It’s a gem within the hustle & bustle. It’s a townhouse building within the residential area for more authentic local experience. 8mins walk to the main train station and 5mins walk to the Main Street - ZhongShan Street, 2km straight road full of eateries. The host was very nice and friendly, room was spacious enough and clean. Was a pleasant 4days stay for us. Highly recommended."

Great hotel with nice amenities at an affordable price! Very nice decoration and furnishings. New hotel, very comfortable, and staff very helpful. We found the free washer/dryer extremely handy to clean up our Taroko Gorge hiking clothes. The front desk provided excellent info to do self-guided tours through Taroko, including bus timetables and shuttle service arrangement. They also pointed us to the local stone market and night market. Would stay here again.

This was a nice place to stay, with a very nice complimentary breakfast. Not like the simple continental breakfast we are used to in the United States.
Would stay again

We took a train ride to HuaLien to visit Taroko National Park. It was pleasantly surprise to find out that this hotel is within walking distance to the train station. It saves us some money from taking taxi to the hotel and back to the station. Upon checked in, the staffs were helpful in showing us how to get to where we want to go, offered service to call taxi or hired driver to take us to the Gorge, and allowed us to check out bikes to bike around town. This was my favorite hotel of my trip. The young ladies who checked us in were so very helpful. She texted me several restaurant recommendations (the one we picked was outstanding) and was happy to provide any information we needed. I needed a kettle in my room, she happily gave me one to take upstairs. We were so close to the beach, a very easy walk. I would definitely stay here again.

The TC Hotel was in a great location convenient to many areas of Hualien. The staff were amazingly helpful with all needs, from restaurant recommendations to spa reservations to just answering any questions. The rooms were clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend this hotel as a good safe place to stay.

This hotel was my favorite during my time in Taiwan. Very cute, comfortable, AMAZING staff who really go the extra mile to help out and ensure you have all what you need. Washer and dryer were very convenient. And they offer snacks to hotel guests. 10 min walk from the train/bus station. Quiet and convenient. Would definitely stay there again.
The only thing is that there aren’t good restaurants around (imo). I don’t recommend going to the all-you-can-eat bbq restaurant nearby, I had the worst...

You simply have to visit the night market near by. If you are a foodie, that's heaven for you. Nice hotel with the ocean view if you are able to get it.
