Thank you so much for sharing your cabin! Location was great to all the hiking near by! We enjoyed doing s’mores by the fire!! House was great and host is very quick to respond :) would definitely recommend this place!
Quiet, beautiful log cabin equipped with everything for a wonderful relaxing stay. Plan ahead for meals as the location is really remote. We loved it and the peacefulness of the area. Enjoy!
It's very quietly located, but close to all locations we were visiting. The cabin is clean and pleasant. It can use better kitchen supplies including pots, pans and knives for people who need to cook. The pond is a walk, and could be missed if you don't walk all the way in the trail. Overall, we loved our stay.
We wanted to visit Watkins Glen and Ithica for a weekend getaway, and this cabin was perfectly located between them! Everything was clean, well-maintained, and lovely. It even had everything needed to make our own meals and our morning coffee. The wifi is a lifesaver if you need to stay on the grid as well. We loved it!
The description of this cabin does not give it justice. Never rented a cabin or been in New York for that matter, but don't see how this place could have been any better. Secluded enough no one bothers you, close enough to Watkins Glen where in 15 minutes, you can be there. Whether you have children or not, this place is perfect. Can't wait to get back!!
Cabin is beautiful! The drive way is stone and can be a bit hard to find. The cabin itself is nicer than pictures show. We did not use pull out beds, however the mattress on the beds we used were comfortable. This cabin is the perfect location between Ithaca and Watkins Glen. Perfect place to relax after hiking. If you are reading this and are tall you will love the shower. It is set up for tall people.
This cabin is tucked away in a perfect area. You are within 30 min of Watkins Glen and Ithaca and all the sights around them. The cabin is well appointed with all you may need, including laundry and a dishwasher. There is a large wraparound porch with comfortable chairs as well as a flat top grill.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this area and would recommend this cabin/host.
Note: For anyone with mobility issues, please know that there isn’t a bathroom on the 2nd floor sleeping area.

The location was just of a main road, but it felt like we were far into the woods. The road off the main road was a little rocky which made us glad that we drove our Jeep.
We were able to see numerous stars in the night sky from the deck. Everything we needed was inside the cabin from a hair dryer to utensils for the grill. We wished we could have stayed longer. It is equal distance from Watkins Glen and Ithaca. Numerous great places to hike with the best for us being Watkins Glen Gorge and Buttermilk Falls. Our best meal was at the Wagner Winery and Southern Pete BBQ. The property manager was helpful. If you are looking for a place to do some serious wine tasting this is a great spot to be.

Great cabin in an isolated rural country-side. More spacious than we expected (party of 4 adults toddler). Loved waking up each morning to the songs of birds while seated at the patio. Kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. There is a heater in the basement that more than warms up the entire house.
Easily accessible to the nearby trails and waterfalls. And those country roads can get tempting to anyone with a lead foot! Be careful though.
The host was very responsive - contacted him almost at midnight as we had lost our way. Would definitely recommend arriving at the cabin during daylight just to get an idea of where to turn in!

I love this cabin. The log cabin interior is beautiful, and the windows let in plenty of light. Outdoors are nice decks overlooking wildflowers and wild turkeys. No noise pollution, no light pollution - I didn't even know that was possible anymore without hiking into the backcountry. What a gift!
Activities are easily accessible with 20 minute drives in all directions: to Watkins Glen State Park, Seneca Lake and its restaurants and boat rides, the Seneca Lake wineries, and, in the other direction, Robert H. Treman State Park and Ithaca. Perfect.
Well, almost perfect: There is no bathroom on the 2nd floor sleeping level. That was a nuisance but not a big enough nuisance to change my mind about this place or to stop me from coming back.
Thanks to the owners and manager for a most enjoyable stay.
Such a lovely cabin, sort of remote, but close to restaurants and activities (especially the multiple Falls in the area). We loved sitting out on the deck in the mornings and evenings watching the deer come to browse. Watching the chipmunks play each day was very entertaining. The cabin was clean and we didn't see any inside bugs at all! The kitchen had everything we could possibly need, and the bed was huge and very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!
The cabin was a beautiful getaway for my family. It is a short distance to several state parks with waterfalls. If you need a place to stay where it’s peaceful and quiet, this is the place for you.

If you are looking for a secluded getaway but still close to the nearest attractions this is the place. We had a wonderful stay. The host is attentive to all your needs. The cabin has everything you need.
The cabin was nicely presented and equipped with everything we needed. We loved the isolated feeling, although it was only a short drive to the nearest village and shop. Contacting the owner to obtain access when we arrived was a little difficult because cell reception is poor there (the WiFi is excellent however).
Our stay was just heavenly!! So peaceful!! I didn’t want to leave the porch!! The cabin had everything we needed and was so incredibly clean!! Even though it was tucked back in the woods, we didn’t even see one bug inside!! Can’t wait until our next stay!
