“We loved staying at this hotel. In case you don't know, this used to be a house for a famous Egyptian singer (Om Kolthoom) from the 60s and got converted into a hotel. So, the whole hotel is themed around this singer (photos, decor, signage on doors, etc.). I loved that because I love this singer. “We had a very good 3 nights at this hotel. Room was spacious comfortable and clean. Staff were helpful. Good breakfast and room service. “It was central to everything but if you don’t like the night life then it might be a little noisy for you because people eat late and party. The room had a great view and the breakfast up on the roof was gorgeous. Very basic breakfast but you can’t beat the view. ”

“It has views from the rooms and the dining area with unobstructed views of the Pyramids. The staff were always willing to do anything for us, from advice on where to go and what to do, to offering services straight from the hotel. It is located only around 3km south from the Pyramids of giza wich gives it a nice location to also visit Saqgara. You also don't get as much noise at night as you would do within either Cairo or further towards Giza.”
