"This is a beautiful hotel located on top of a hill. The view on the backside is amazing. You can see part of lake Thun and the mountain range. It has a balcony on the back side overlooking the mountain and the lake. We visited in early September, but still was a bit hot. Room has a fan that helped. The staff was very helpful."

"The hotel was clean and individual air conditioning a very quiet area. The room was about small but we were not there often except to sleep. There is no AC but a fan was provided. Located by a bus stop. Plan on walking up hill a bit to get to the train station from the hotel"

"Mostly wonderful experience in a beautiful hotel with amazing views. There were a couple dead flies on the floor in our room which was the only disappointing thing. The other thing that was extremely disappointing was our dinner reservations seating (which we made a month in advance). We had a 7pm reservation right when they opened. They have PLENTY of seating with views of Lake Geneva which we wanted for our final night of our anniversary trip. We got there, and were placed in the interior against a wall so I couldn't even see the view at all. My husband could partially see it. I didn't ask to be moved because I'm not typically that type of person, but I was sorely disappinted and confused as to why they did that with as many open tables with a view they had, and when I had booked a month in advance. Nevertheless, we had an enjoyable stay despite our last dinner ambience being ruined. Our server was fantastic."

"The plus room is great with plenty of space and a river view, but the classic room is very small. We appreciated having AC since it was 20+ Fahrenheit hotter than average. Beds were comfortable but pillows very flat, need to fold it in half to be comfortable under your neck. Great location."

"It’s very clear that the hotel’s primary focus is to make guests feel as relaxed and as comfortable as possible, and they succeed on all fronts. The lakefront view is so worth it. It’s an experience I don’t think I would’ve been able to get elsewhere. It’s calm, quiet and allows you to slow down and really take in the lake’s serenity, rather than it feeling like a brief stop on a tour. The building is great. The food was great. The staff were helpful and kind. The location is easily accessible by car or a 10 minute bus ride. I was able to walk up the hillside to the nice village and get a good view of the lake with a good bit of exercise. I would happily stay again."
