4/5 - Good
Not much here aside from canyon de Chelly. If you come for the canyon, it’s a decent town to stay in without any issues

The Junipine Resort was absolutely beautiful. I was welcomed by the sweetest soul, Marcayla, when I checked in, and she was amazing from start to finish. She upgraded me to a creekside cabin, which was so cozy and had the best vibes the moment I walked in. Check-in was effortless, and her customer ...

Really nice spot. Many amenities. Small mobile units with kitchen, living room and bedroom. Sizable bathroom. Much storage. Our heater stopped working for two out of three nights, it got cold. Staff did not make needed repairs.

My stay was rather comfortable however, I do feel that staff need to be a little more courteous, show a smile, ask if there is anything else that we need, etc. Costumer service is very important for one to choose if we come back or not.
Convenient location for us to go to Canyon De Chelly
It was a small town. The people were very friendly.
Not much fine dining (or fast food choices) or shopping in Chinle, but it is close to Canyon de Chelly National Monument.
The city is not very clean and the houses are partly disintegrated and in poor condition. The advertisement for the Thunderbird Lodge is not well placed in front of half-ruined houses.
