However, we had several days without hot water, there were a couple bugs in the room and I received dozen flea bites in the first couple of days. While the rooms have been upgraded, the hallways have not and the carpets were grungy, and hallways had poor lighting. If cleaning were stepped up and hot water guaranteed we’d stay again. "Location is very good. Center of Phnom Penh. So easy to use Grab. And breakfast also quite nice. Well known problem is, NOISE. Mall side, day to evening time (till 20:00) music noise, street side all day car noise due to the window frame and glasses' quality. Swimming pool and gym are very clean and nice as there's almost no users. Most guests are business or sports players I guess. "

"The Ocean hotel staff is centrally located close to one of the big malls and a lot of bars and restaurants. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was good. The roof top bar and rooms were very nice."
